To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I request a copy of all records, documents, and materials of any kind concerning the Abalone Alliance, the August 6, 1977 demonstration at San Onof:. e Nuclear Power Station, and the August 6, 1978 demonsLration at the Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant that are in the possession of the Office of the Attorney General, the Office of the Deputy Attorney General, the Office of the Associate Attorney General,and the United States Marshals Service.
In addition, I specifically request all reports provided to Peter F.
Flaherty, Deputy Attorney General concerning the above described organization and demonstrations, including the material provided pursuant to his request to Clarence M.
Kelley in his memo of August 5, 1977 I request a waiver of fees for this request, because of the public interest in the disclosure of files concerning any investigation of these public demonstrations and the A: alone Alliance.
It is my understanding that the Dept.
of Justice has determined that files such as tr.ese should be disclosed without fee.
It is my understanding that pursuant to the Act I can expect a response within ten working days.
