REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION As a result of our review of Amendment No. 24 to the Preliminary Safety Analysis Report for the Limerick Generating Station, we find that we need additional information to complete our evaluation. The specific information requested is in the area of D-Mix concrete for the Limerick Generating Station and is listed ir the enclosure to this letter.

LIMERICK GENERATING STATION REQUEST FOR INFORMATION STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING BRANCH 1.

Provide the names of seismic Category I structures in which the 5000 psi (D-mix) concrete is used.

2.

Provide a summary of the various efforts which you undertook to identify the causes of low strengths at 28 days, including (a) a table listing the results of compression cylinder tests at 28 days, 90 days as well as those at days between 28 and 90 days, and beyond 90 days, if available, and (b) a table listing the results of tests to determine the physical and chemical properties of the concrete materials used.

Provide a table listing the results of compression cylinder tests for the 4000 psi concrete at 28 and if available at 90 days, and other ages.
