Dear Mr. Hukill:
In order to help us closely follow your progress toward completion of all NRC requirements for restart of your facility and to assist the NRC staff in its scheduling / planning of our evaluations and inspection, it is requested that you provide us with monthly progress reports.
The reports should contain the status and schedule for implementation of all items required by the August 9,1979 and March 6,1980 Commission letter, the additional near term operating license (NT0L) requirements delineated in my [[letter::05000320/LER-1980-049-01, /01L-0:on 801027,ASME Code Stamped UV Valve LTB-V171 Discovered Stamped by Unauthorized Valve Supply House.Caused by Unauthorized Use of ASME UV Code Stamp by North American Safety Valve Industries,Inc|letter dated November 25, 1980]] to R. C.
Arnold, GPU, and NUREG-0737, " Clarification of TMI Action Plan Requirements," items required to be implemented by January 1, 1982 or earlier per the implementation schedule in Enclosure 1 of NUREG-0737.
It is expected that the report would provide information regarding your estimate of the itens which are pacing and reasons why they are pacing.
You should plan your submittal to be issued on the 10th day of each nonth covering the status of the previous month and the monthly reports would continue until restart. We are. available to meet with you to discuss details of this request as well as when these reports would be received on a regular basis.
Sincerely,
/
