This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Mr. W. J. Slawinski of this office on J-nuary 21-22, 1981, of activ! ties at The Ohmart Corporation authorized by NRC Licenses No. 34-00639-01, No. 34-00639-03G and No. SNM-1091 and to the discussion of our findings with Messrs. H. L. Cook and P. Sieck at the conclusion of the inspection and to the telephone conversation with you on January 28, 1981.

The inspection was an examination of activities conducted under your license as they relate to radiation safety and to compliance with the Commission's rules and regulations and with the conditions of your license. The inspec-tion consisted of a selective examination of procedures and representative records, observations, independent measurements, and interviews with personnel.

l During this inspection, certain of your activities appeared to be in non-compliance with NRC requirements, as described in the enclosed Appendix A.

The inspection showed that action had been taken to correct the identified noncompliance and to prevent recurrence. Consequently, no reply to this noncompliance is required and we have no further questions regarding this matter at this time.

In addition to the above areas, the inspector examined actions described in your letter dated January 7, 1980, regarding our inspection performed on November 6, 1979, and your letter dated May 13, 1980. We have no forther questions regarding these matters.
