Perry Nuclear Power Plant N ~l'or E' Docket Nos. 50-440; 50-441 Significant Deficiency Suppression Pool Stainless Steel Cladding Sensitization The interim report regarding subject significant deficiency state's that the final report is scheduled to bc submitted to your office by March 1, 1981.
As discussed with Mr. L. McGregor on February 26, 1981, the mechanical portion of the work has been completed, but further investigation of the effects of the stainless steel sensiti-zation on the corrosion performance for the anticipated plant life remains to be done. Our final report cannot be issued until this investigation is complete.
It is anticipated that this, work will be completed and the final report submitted by June 1, 1981.
