'ork State Electric & Gas Corporation and Long Island Lighting Company (Applicants) sought a Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need for the New Haven Units as required under Public Service Law Article VIII.
On November 12, 1979, the Applicants moved for a rehearing of the order issued in Case 80008 dismissing the proceeding.
By order issued May 23, 1980, the Siting l
Board denied the motion for rehearing.
Applicants have abandoned their attempts to license a nuclear-fueled generation station at the New Haven
