ENCLOSURE RFOUESTS FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION 41.20 The description of the fire protection training program, as given in Section 5.0 of Gilbert Associates Report No. 1943, " Fire Protection Evaluation", is inadequate. On the basis of this description, we are unable to make a determination that the program meets the acceptance criteria of Standard Review Plan, Section 13.2, Rev.1. Please supplement the subject report to provide the information required in Paragraph 6 of Section 13.2 of the Standard Review Plan, Revision 1.

41.2k The area of secondary attention, as shown on Figure 13.5-2, is not defined. Regulatory Guide 1.114 states that the operator at the controls should not leave the area of continuous surveillance for any nonemergency reason without obtaining a qualified relief operator.

Nonemergency reasons include verifying the receipt of an annunciator alarm or to initiate corrective action in the event of an emergency affecting the safety of operations. Provide your interpretation of

" area of secondary attention".
