of this office on December 12-22, 1989 at Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station in

the activities authorized by NRC Licenses No. DPR-44 and DPR-56 and to the
1 discussions of. our findings held by Mr. Della Greca with Mr. L. B.' Pyrih of

'your staffiat the conclusion of the inspection.
The areas examined during this inspection are described in the'NRC Region I-
,
Inspection Report .which is enclosed with this letter. Our inspector reviewed
your corrective actions for 14 previously identified NRC concerns. These
.
concerns included several violations and unresolved items. Within these areas,
the. inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and-represen-

'tative records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the-inspector.

-Your corrective actions for 13 of the 14 items reviewed were acceptable.
'
Therefore', these-issues are closed. .Your corrective actions for the remaining-
item (management control for deficient equipment) are incomplete'and will be
reviewed at'a later date.
In addition, your. analysis addressing the accuracy.
of'the post accident high range radiation monitor did not adequately support
its conclusion,
