NOTICE OF VIOLATION Tennessee Valley Authority Docket Nos. 50-327, 50-328 Sequoyah Units 1 and 2 License Nos. DPR-77, DPR-79:

DuringEthe Nuclear Regulatory Commission' (NRC) inspection. conducted on 1
~ January 8-12, 1990, a violation of NRC. requirements was identified.
In accordance with - the " General Statement of Policy and Procedure for NRC Enforcement Actions," 10 CFR Part 2, Appendix C (1989), the violation is' listed q
below:
Criterion III, requires that measures be established to assure that applicable regulatory requirements and the design basis for structures, systems, and components are correctly
- u translated into specifications, drawings, procedures, and instructions.
f 10 CFR 50.59 requires that safety evaluations shall be performed which provide the bases for the determination that a change, test, or experiment
-does not: involve an unreviewed safety ~ question to identify if the-probability of occurrence or the~ consequences of an accident-or malfunction of equipment important to safety previously evaluated in the-

(1) admission or denial of the violation, (2) the reason for the violation if admitted, (3) the corrective steps which have been taken and the results' achieved, (4) the corrective steps which will be taken to avoid
