Re: Big Rock Point Plant The Coninission has issued the enclosed Exemption from the requirements of o
10 CFR Part 50, Appendix R, Section III.G.I.a in response to your letter dated October 14,1986, and supplemented by letters dated February 27,1987, and February 22, 1988. This exemption from the requirements that one train of systems-necessary to achieve and maintain hot shutdown be free of fire damage is granted.
A copy of the Exemption is being forwarded to the Office of the Federal Register for publication.
