N SYSTEM, INSTRUMENT AIR SYSTEM, " MIDAS" SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE, AND IN-SERVICE TESTING FLOW: INSTRUMENTATION REVISED COMMITMENTS REGARDING DESIGN MODIFICATIONS We have reviewed your letter, subject same as above, dated December 21, 1989.
Based on our technical review,' we concur in the revised implementation schedule-for all' the discussed issues.
We are; concerned, though, over the timeliness f
t of informing this office that significant commitments made to the~ NRC would not be completed as' scheduled.
Conversations between our respective 'staf fs prior. and subsequent to the receipt of your letter indicate the problem to be -
primarily in your corporate and site management of commitments.

This letter confirms thel telephone conversation between Mr. R.-F.
Saunders of your staff and Mr. P. E. Fredrickson of my staff on January 18, 1990, scheduling a management meeting on this-issue to be held at the Region II Office on February 21, 1990, at 10:30 a.m.
