-This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Mr. J. Furia of
'this office on~ January 22-26, 1990, of activities authorized by NRC License Nos.
DPR-44 and DPR-56, and to the discussion.of our findings held by Mr. J. Furia.
with Mr. M. Ryan and other members of your staff at the conclusion of the
inspection.-

Areas examined during this inspection included transportation and radwastei
programs,=and are described in the NRC Region I Inspection Report which is
enclosed with this: letter. Within these areas the inspection consisted.of
selective' examinations of procedures and-repres,entative records,. interviews with
personnel',;and observations by.the inspector.
