We have noted the recent offgas releases which occurred at the Perry plant on December 28, and 29,.1989, and on January 1,1990. Such releases have also occurred in the past.-
While the radiation levels have been low and are not a significant safety concern, these events represent repetitive operational distractions which should be corrected. We note that your past corrective actions including modifications performed during your last refueling outage, have not resolved
-the issues..
We request that you be prepared at the next management meeting, to discuss
-what short -term actions, as well as any long term actions, are planned to resolve all' of the offgas system issues.
