Facility Operating License No. DPR-6, License Condition 2.C(7) was incorporated soastorequireConsumersPowerCompany(CPC)toadheretothe"Planforthe Big Rock Point Integrated Assessment (thePlan).Section V.A., " Periodic Updating,". requires that semi-annual updates to the Plan be submitted to us for our review.

By letters dated February 27, 1989, and August 31, 1989, you submitted Updates 10 and 11 to the Plan.

t The NRC' staff reviewed Updates 10 and 11 to the plan and noted that in Update 10, Item BN-025, " Wind and Tornado Load and Tornado Missile-SEP Topics III-2 and III-4.A." was closed with test and surveillance procedures still under review and final testing scheduled for late February or early March 1989.

Update 11 did not mention BN-025 status.

Please provide the status of this item to indicate whether the test and surveillance procedures have been approved, the final acceptance testing of the portable pump has been completed, and the date of completion of these tasks.

In light of this issue, please indicate what your criteria is to call an ILS item complete.-

Other than the information requested above and on further information provided in the discussion at the December 5,1989, meeting at the Big Rock Point site our review of Updates 10 and 11 is complete and we find them acceptable.
