i Pursuant to Technical Specifications 3.18.1.B.3 of Appendix A, to Provisional Operating License No. DPR-13 for San Onofre Unit 1 and Section 3.12.1.C of Appendix A, to Facility Operating License Nos.
NPF-10 and NPF-15 for Units 2 and 3 respectively, this special 30-day written report is submitted to identify the unavailability of-leafy vegetable. : sample *i at the new vegetable gardens in San Clemente, recently added to San Onofre Radiological Environmental.

An investigation' of - the garden ~ revealed that the 1989 Land Use' 1
l Census had mistakenly reported presence of leafy vegetable garden l:
-residence in the city of Shn Clemente located at distances of 4.1 j
miles in the northwest of Units 2 and 3.
A visual. inspection of the garden was conducted ~by Southern i
l California Edison and the lack of leafy vegetables was confirmed j
ibyan interview-with the resident users of the garden.
L Consequently,- a representative fleshy vegetable replacement sample was obtained from San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station's present sampling location for local crops.
