We have received Houston Lighting & Power Company's (HL&P's) letter dated November 6,1989, in response. to Generic Letter 89-07:
Power Reactor Safeguards Contingency Planning for Surface Vehicle Bombs. We understand from the response that activities required to address the issues discussed in the Generic Letter have been performed. Therefore, we consider this action complete.
l HL&P's safeguards contingency procedures and their implementation may, in
-the future, be the subject of an NRC inspection.
