CONSUMERS POWER COMPANY CONFIRMATION OF ITS RESPONSE TO NRC BULLETIN 88-10 AND SUPPLEMENT 1 TO BULLETIN 88-10 (TAC NO. 71264)

By letters dated March 31, and April 7 1989, Consumers Power Company responded to tulletin 88-10 for Big Rock Point Plent. As a n sult of Supplement 1 to Bulletin 88-10 you submitted a response on November 21, 1989 stating changes to your original response was not required.

In your response, you confirmed that activities required to address the issue of substandard niolded case circuit breakers discussed in Eulletin 88-10 have been performed or will be perforred on an acceptable schedule. A detailed technical review of the response has not been performed; however, the area may be subject to inspection at a later date.

If a subsequent inspection identifies deficiencies in the your actions and response, this issue will be reopened. Presently we consider this action complete.
