Dear Mr. Newman:
Enclosed please find Interrogatories from Citizens Concerned About Nuclear Power pursuant to the Memorandum and Order of October 30, 1981 issued by the ASLB. While the Memorandum and Order called for filing these inter-rogatories by November 6, I am afraid the United States Postal Service got in the way. On Thursday, November 5, I sent the draft of the enclosed interrogatories by Express Mail to Bill Jordan. The plan was for Mr. Jordan to combine the CCANP interrogatories with the CEU interrogatories to make it easier for Applicants to respond. Despite the postal promise of delivery no later than 3:00 p.m. November 6 in Washington, by 5':00 p.m. the letter had still not arrived. As a consequence, I have sent the enclosed separate inter-rogatories. I trust the delay will be viewed..as an unavoidable techni-cality. Besides, if we wanted to get technical, my copy of the Memorandum and Order from the ASLB arrived November 4 in Austin.
