The problem was cracks that were discovered in the welds of the embed plates supplied under Contract 95 by Fought Company of Portland, Oregon, which are to be embedded in the Reactor Auxiliary Building.
Ebasco Engineerir.g is still reviewing the NDE reports of approximately 70 plates that were examined at the WNP-3/5 Site and other plates that a e yet to be examined. The evaluation for safety significance is currently projected to be completed by Ebasco on June 19, 1981.
