COMANCHE' PEAK STEAM ELECTRIC STATION CIRCULATING WATER EXPANSION JOINT FAILURE REF: LETTER TXX-3310, EVALUATION OF CIRCULATING WATER EXPANSION JOINT FAILURE

Dear Mr. Burwell:

In regards to the referenced letter we shall provide estimates of the time the operator requires to terminate the forced flow into the Turbine Building and identify the instrumentation that alerts the operator to flooding.

If flooding.above the PMF level occurs before the operator can terminate the expansion joint leak, modifications will be proposed to prevent flooding above the PMF level in the electrical and control buildings and/or provide additional instrumentation to the operator to assure a faster response time.
