UNIT 1 The NRC Region I office has learned that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Pittsburgh Office is issuicg a press release today regarding its investigation into instances of val /e tampt. ring at the Beaver Valley Power Station, Unit 1.
The press release is being made to request that persons with information regarding valve tampering, notify the Special Agent in Charge, Pittsburgh Office.
This PN is issued for informatio'n only.
The FBI and NRC investigations are continuing.
