Gentlemen:

i As requested by the Board following the second conference l call this morning, June 12, 1981, this is to memorialize the j order of presentation of evidence which has been agreed to by '

the Parties and approved by the Chairman.

On June 22nd, limited appearances and opening statements will be heard in the morning session; if required, these matters will continue into'the afternoon session and, when concluded, the Applicant and Staff panels on seismic matters will begin.

On the morning of June 23rd, seismic matters will continue.

On that afternoon, seismic matters will be con'cluded and Board questions regarding hydrological interaction will be addressed.

On the morning of June 24th, evidence of all Parties regarding contention A9 will be presented, and the Board will have the opportunity to interrogate the senior corporate official having line responsibility for construction matters, Mr. Crews, a member of Applicant's construction / quality panel.

That afternoon, Board questions regarding management will be addressed by the Applicant's panel and the Board will question the senior official 'having line responsibility for operations, Mr. Nichols, a member of that panal.

On June 25th, evidence on financial qualifications and Anticipated Transients Without Scram will be considered to the extent that summary disposition (in whole or in part) has not removed the need to take up these matters.

On June 26th, Intervenor Bursey's witness Dr. K. Z. Morgan will testify and be cross examined.

At the suggestion of the Board, the session tentatively scheduled for June 29th has been omitted.

On the morning of June 30th, Intervenor Bursey will call representatives of nine state agencie's'. He will also call Mr. Coleman, and the hospital personnel for whom prefiled testimony has been submitted.

On July 1st, Mr. Bursey will call a further group of -

representatives of eight state and local agencies. On the af ternoon of July 1st, Mr. Bursey will call Dr. Kaku to testify on emergency plans and on health effects.

, on Thursday, July 2nd, emergency planning matters will continue as necessary, including Applicant and Staff evidence; Dr. Caldicott will testiTy; and then the Applicant and Staff will present their direct and, if possible, rebuttal on health effects. The availability of Staff witness Branagan remains subject to confirmation as he could not be reached today.

The Board noted that, if necessary, the hearing would

! be resumed for a day or two during the week of July 13th.

. Page Three undersigned. Mr. Bursey was not available as ' scheduled. The parties to the second conference call at approximately 11:15 a.m.

this date were the same except that Mr. Wilson could not be reached and Mr. Bursey was included. Mr. Wilson interposed no objection to the schedule discussed in the first call, but there were some adjustments made in the second call. The parties to the second call agreed that the undersigned should memorialize this agreement and that the Board would formally approve it at the outset of the hearing.
