dated Decemoer 4, 1979 The referenced letters provided our response to the suoject IE Bulletin ano documented tne results of investigations into the audibility problems of the identified systems.

Signal audibility was determined to be in:ufficient in several locations and extensive modifications of the In-Plant Paging, Immediate Evacuation Signal, and Area Radiation Monit ring l

U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION IE EULLETIN 79-18 PAGE'2 Testing to verify the adecuacy of the systems under maximum noise concitions will be' completed within 30 days of the unit return to sustained full load coeration. Should the' testing-indicate that adjustments and/or repairs to systems components are necessary, corrective action will be taken to satisfy the bulletin requirements.
