SUMMARY
OF OPERATING EXPERIENCES MAY 1981 On May 1, 1981, the FitzPatrick Plant initiated a normal shutdown at 2200 hours0.0255 days <br />0.611 hours <br />0.00364 weeks <br />8.371e-4 months <br /> for unidentified drywell leakage.
Upon drywell entry, valve 10-A0V-68A was found to have a packing leak which was then repaired.
The unit was returned to service at approximately 0800 on May 6, 1981.
Power was increased at the pre-conditioning rate and the unit operated at near full-rated thermal power for the remainder of the month except for a slight reduction in power on May 24, 1981 for control rod sequence exchange, f
