Dear Sir:
In response to IE Bulletin No. 79-14, " Seismic Analyses for As-Built Safety-Related Piping Systems," our January 14, 1980 letter prc5vided the results of the verificati'On/ inspection of accessible safety-related piping systems, except for a random selection of insulated support details, as described in our August 10, 1979 and September 10, 1979 letters. We indicated that those piping systems where insulation will be removed for certain support details would be inspected consistent with the inspections of inaccessible safety-related pip'ing systems (i.e., prior to or during the current outage) as described in our September 10, 1979 letter.
The purpose of this letter is to advise you that de have completed the required verification / inspection of (1) the random selection of insulated support details on accessible safety-related piping systems as described in our January 14, 1980 letter, and (2) tne inaccessiole safety-related piping systems as described in our August 10, 1979 and September 10, 1979 letters.
Based on the results of the verification / inspection, three nonconformances were icentifiea invalidating the seismic analysis for the piping systems.
In 9:ch case, your of fice was pronptly notified of tne nonconformances in accordance with the bulletin and our Technical Specifications witn followup letters describing the details surrounding tne nonconformance and the action taken to correct the nonconformances.

description of the actions taken to correct the nonconformances. With the submittal of this letter, we have completed the actions required by IE Bulletin No. 79-14.
As discussed in our January 14, 1980 letter relative to accessible safety-related piping systems, we conducted a field veritication/ inspection for all inaccessible safety-related piping systems rather than rely on available certified, as-built drawings.
In addition, the insulation was removed from all inaccessible safety-related piping systems, where necessary, to conduct the verification / inspection of support details.
