Dear Mr. Cohen:
This is in response to your letter dated April 23, 1981, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, " copies of the Preliminary Safety Analysis Report [PSAR] as well as the drawings and specifications" for the Forked River Nuclear Power Plant, Forked River, New Jersey.
In your telephone conversation on May 6 with Ms. Nina Toms of nly staff, you were informed that a copy of the PSAR which you are seeking is available for public inspection and copying in the Local Public Document Room (LPDR) which the NRC established near the Forked River plant.
The LPDR is located at:
Ocean County Library Brich Township Branch 401 Chambers Bridge Road Brich, NJ 08723 As Ms. Toms explained in the conversation, the lack of specificity in regard to the types of drawings and specifications which you are seeking makes it difficult for us to determine their availability at the LPDR.
We are enclosing a copy of the index to the PSAR to aid you with your search for drawings and specifications during your inspection of the PSAR at the LPDR.
