report is scheduled to be submitted to your office by March 1, 1981. Relative to our letter of February 26, 1981, we advised that an investigation of the effects of the stainless steel sensitization on the possible corrosion during plant service life had to *ae completed before our final report on this matter can be submitted.
As discussed with Mr. L. McGregor of your office on May 28, 1981, the decision was recently made to contract for an extensive independent investigation by a consultant specializing in corrosion effects. We now aaticipate that all studies will be completed and our final report will be submitted by Dt.cember 15, 1981 Very truly yours,,
