Dear Mr. Tedesco:
Pursuant to your letter of April 29, 1981, we request an additional forty-five (45) day extension to properly respond to the NRC staff comments regarding the Comanche Peak Steam Electric Station's Physical Security Plan and Guard Training and Qualification Plan. This would allow sufficient time for the NRC Security Staff representative to visit the CPSES site and discuss appropriate issues in a effort to mutually agree upon acceptable plans. The NRC Security Plan reviewer, Mr. Dale Kers, and Guard Training and Qualification Plan reviewer, Mr. Barry Manili, are aware of this extension request and have stated to us that an approval of this request presents them with no problems.
