Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station Docket No. 50-219 Technical Specification Change Request No. 87, Rev. 1 In Accordance with 10 CFR 50.59 and 10 CFR 50.90, Jersey Central Power & Light Company, owner and operator of the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station, Provisional Operating License No. DPR-16 requests changes to Appendix A of that license.

The attached revision 1 to Technical Specification Change Request No. 87 revises that request in its entirety. This revision is submitted in response to several discussions with the NRC staff pertaining to various areas of concern resulting from the initial review of our submittal dated July 14, 1980, entitled Technical Specificat. ion Change Request No. 87.

This revised Technical Specification Change Request has been reviewed and approved by the Director, Oyster Craek Operations, the Plant Operations Review Committee, and an Independent Safety Review Group in accordance with section 6.5 of the Oyster Creek Station Technical Specifications.

Since this submittal is a revision of a previously submitted change request, we have determined that the fee paid with our submittal dated July 14, 1980, fulfills the requirements of 10 CFR 170.22 with regard to this submittal.
