SECUOYAE NUCLEAR PLANT UNIT 2 - LIMIT SWITCH ACTUATOR FOR MASONEILAN AIR-CPERATED VALVES - SCRD-50-328/81 SECCND INTERIM REPORT The subject deficiency was initially reported to NRC-0IE Inspector R. W. Wright on January 20, 1981, in accordance with 10 CFR 50.55(e) as NCR SCN NE3 8103 Our first interim report was submitted on February 19, 1981. We expect to sub=it our next report by May 29, 1981. We consider 10 CFR 21 applicable to this deficiency.
TVA has perfor=ed a safety evaluaticn and deter =ined that the operation of the subject valves is not required before ici ial criticality.
Further investigation has determined that the concern is limited to 3/4-inch and 1-inch valves. Westinghouse and Masoneilan are continuing to work on the corrective actions.
