The purpose of this letter is to provide you with a brief status report regarding Omaha ?ublic Power District's corrective actions in response to I. E. Inspection Report 81-02.
The District's response to the Inspection Report, dated February 28, 1981, discussed our commitment to implement a computerized training records management system for the Fort Calhoun Station.
The first phase of this implementation consisted of inputting the fire brigade and licensed personnel training records by March 30, 1981.
The fire brigace records system was fully implemented prior to the March 30th date.
However, due to the scope of the program, the licensed personnel records system was not fully implemented until April 3,1981.
Phase two of this program, regarding the implementation of a similar records management system for security, health physics, maintenance and emergency plan training, is partially ccmpleted and we expect to meet the scheduled completion date of Aoril 30, 1981.
In our February 28th letter, the District also comnitted to a j
review of training requirements relative to our training manual, the l
review to be completed by May 1, 1981.
In order for us to meet our next ccamitment of issuing a revised training manual by June 1, 1981, we have already completed our review of our training manual and training re-quirements. At the present time we fully expect to have our training manual revised and issued by the June 1,1981 commitment date.
Violation B.3 was concerned with quarterly fire drills involving the entire plant staff.
The District's February 28th letter stated that we would be in full ccapliance April 1,1981. On March 26, 1931, a plant wide fire drill was conducted for the first quarter of 1981; and thus, the District is presently in full compliance.

Mr. K. V. Styfrit Page Two FC-264-81 Violation C.3 was corcerned with licensed requalification exami-nations. The District's February 28th letter stated that we would begin administering a restructured and revised requalification examination prior to March 31, 1981.
Several examinations were administered prior to the end of March and as stated in our letter, full compliance will be achieved when all licensed personnel have completed the examination.
Violation D was concerned with the fact that documentation did not exist to ensure that all licensed operators were cognizant of facility license amendments 48, 49, 50, 51, 52 and 53 The February 28th letter stated that the District would be in full compliance by March 15, 1981.
In accordance with the methods outlined in the District's response to this violation, the necessary documentation has been obtained and re-corded to ensure that all licensed operators are cognizant of the documents in question.
