Encicsure PROPOSED BRUNSWICK ENERGY COMPANY REFINERY TOPICAL REPORT REVIEW.

COMMENTS 1.

Based on the reports received, it appears that a detailed evaluation of the impact of nearby oil spills upon the nuclear plant has not been made, except for one short paragraph (6.5.5) in-the Oil Spill Impact Analysis Report and paragraph 4, page 4-161 of the Environmental Report of the Bruns-wick Energy Company Refinery..The report s.hould be expanded to cover the impact of nearby oil and refined product spills and fires on the Cape Fear River near the Brunswick Nuclear Plant.

2.

The April 2,1981 letter indicated that Liquid Petroleun Gas (LPG) will not be transported by water past the reactor site., Therefore, our earlier request for an analysis of the consequences of a release of this material should be disregarded.
