PHIPPS BEND WCLEAR PLANT UNIT 1 - REPORTABLE DEFICIE CY - D' Rum PIATES WIT 90(R HEAT TRACEABILITY (NCR PBNP-156)
Initial notification of the subject deficiency was made to N O CIE Region II Inspector R. W. Wright on October 14, 1980. 'Ihe final report was subnitted on January 13, 1981. A supplemental response was subnitted on March 2,1981, which attenpted to more accurately describe the cause and necessary corrective actions to prevent recurrence. 'Ihese actions were to have already been ccznpleted by the date of the supplemental response. In a telephone conversation with P. A. Taylor of your staff on March 11, 1981, we stated that the corrective actions mentioned above had not been ocznpleted as previously indicated. During this call, 'IVA agreed to provide an additional resconse which would clarify this n!tuation and accurately address the necessary actions to prevent recurrence. As discussed with F. S. Cantrell of your staff on May 1,1981, 'IVA has yet to cx2nplete these corrective actions and will, therefore, sutr.it a final response on or before Mr/ 29, 1981.
