Dear Mr. Denton:
1981 - EMERGENCY EXERCISE NORTH ANNA POWER STATION Pursuant to 10 CFR 50, Appendix E, Section IV.F.3, the North Anna Power Station has scheduled a Small Scale Emergency Pre-paredness Exercise for June 6, 1981. The purpose of this exercise is to test:
1) the adequacy of communication links, 2) response agencies understanding of emergency action levels, and 3)- one other
[
component - the response of state police and local sheriff departments.
The attached scenario and exercise description have been pre-pared.
Distribution is limited to allow for as much free-play as pos-sible.
In accordance with-Section 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Prac-tice", Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, all of the material coritained in the attachment to this letter is to be withheld from public disclosure.
