Dear Mr. ray:

The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 67 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-3 for Yankee Nuclear Power Station (Yankee Rowe). The amendment consists of changes to the Technical Specifi-cations in response to your application dated April 13, 1981.

The amendment modifies Technical Specification Figure 3.2.1 " Core XIV Allowable Peak Rod LHGR versus Cycle Burnup" by extending the end of cycle burnup to 16,300 MWD /MTU.

Copies of the Safety Evaluation and Notice of Issuance are also enclosed.
