Name Change Centlemen:
This letter is to notify the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Cocaission Transportation Branch of a name change.
On January 23, 1981, Peabody International, which owned Peabody Testing /X-Ray Engineering Company, developed a spin off company CEO International.
As a part of GEO our new division name will be GEO Construction Testing.
Attached you will find a letter of further explanation.
GEO Construction Testing 1118 Chess Drive Foster City Ca 94404 The Management of GEO Construction Testing will remain the same as, that of Peabody Testing /X-Ray Engineering Cot:pany.
The Quality Assurance Program procedures for GEO Construction Testing will remain the same as that of Peabody Testing /X-Ray Engineering Company.
We would, therefore, wish to request the program be revised to reflect the following:
Wherever the words " Peabody Testing /
X-Ray Engineering Co," or "X-Ray En-gineering Co." appears in this Pro-gram it shall hereafter cean GEO Con-struction Testing.
A copy of the Quality Assurance Program for use, Maintenance,
and Repair of shipping containers for Radioactive Material is attached.
