7590-01 UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION DOCKET NO. 50-344 PORTLAND GENERAL ELECTRIC COMPANY. ET AL.
NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission) has issued Amendment No. 59 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-1, issued to Portland General Electric Company, the City of Eugeta, Oregon, and Pacific Power and Light Company (the licensees), which revised Technical Specifications for operation of Trojan Nuclear Plant (the f acility) located in Columbia County, Oregon. The amendment is effective as of the date of issuance.
The amendment revises the requirements for containment air lock testing to conform to the amended regulations contained in 10 CFR 50, Appendix J.
The application for the amendment complies with the standards and requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the The Commission has Act), and the Commission's rules and regulations.

7590-01 The Commission has detennined that the issuance of this amendment will not result in any significant environmental impact and that pursuant to 10 CFR 551.5(d)(4) an environmental impact statement or negative declaration and environmental impact appraisal need not be prepared in connection with issuance of this amendment.
