The enclosed regt.est for revisions to your guard training plan were prepared by the Physical Security Licensing Branch.

1 APR 0 8 is COMMENTS ON WATERFORD GUARD TRAINING PLAN Our review of the plan indicates that a number of revisions are required before the plan can be accepted.

Specific Comments Vision 1.2.1.3 Delete the words "or plastic type" from the second paragraph.

Add the phrase, "during normal or emergency operatiens", to the end of the third paragraph.

Hearing Add the phrase, "during normal or emergency operations", to the end of the third paragrapn.

1.3 Revise this paragraph and commit to a practical physical exercise progran as required by Part 73 Appendix B.I.C.

In addition, coanit to having the security supervisor attest to and document that each armed individual has met the physical fitness qualification requirement.

1.5 Delete the references to ( 3) months.

1.6 Commit to retaining all documentation on site for at least a two year period.

2.2 Commit to having a licensee security supervisor attest to and document successful completion of all training.

4.0 This section commits to qualifying with the handgun using the NRA Modified

If this course does not conform to distances, positions, number of rounds and stage times of the NRA 25 yard course, make the appropiate revision and commitment within this section including the sub-stitute distances, positions, number of rounds and stage times.

Delete the reference to ( 3) months.

Task 8 Commit to naving the guard control the access portal during security or site emergencies and only permit access to specifically authorized individ-uals and offsite emergency response personnel.

Task 12 Commit to having the vehicle escort guard insure that unauthorized materials are not loaded and unloaded.

Task 17 Commit to having the escort guard permit access only to authorized areas.

Task 60 Commit to having the CAS/SAS operator recognize alarm system malfunctions and direct actions to provide compensatory measures.

New Task Commit to having the guard search personnel for unauthorized materials (weapons, explosives, incendiary devices) and take actions upon finding unauthorized materials.
