Enclosed herewitn are five (5) copies of Applicant's Amended Physical Security Plan, Revision 4, dated April 6, 1981.
This Plan supercedes our submittal of March 12, 1981 (SNRC-538 )
and incorporates minor changes that have been discussed and agreed to with your Staff.
Please insert the amended pages into the appropriate sections of the Security Plan and return all obsolete material to the attention of the Long Island Lighting Company as noted in the enclosed return receipt letter.
By copy of this letter, a copy of Revision 4 to the Security Plan has also been forwarded to Mr.
J.
Devlin, NRC, Office of Inspection and Enforcement, Region I.
As this information is proprietary in nature, the Company requests, pursuant to 10CFR2.790 and 9.5, that the information be accorded proprietary status and not placed in the Public Document Room.

J. P. NOVARRO, being duly sworn states that he is Project Manager of the Shoreham Project with Long Island Lighting Company; that he is authorized on the part of said Company to sign and file with the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission the foregoing Revision
- to the Applicant's Amended Physical Security Plan, dated April 6, 1981 for the Shoreham Nuclear Power Station Unit 1, Docket No. 50-322; Revision 4 was prepared under his supervision and direction; and that the statements contained therein are true and correct to the best of his knowledge, information and belief and applying to the NRC to have the Plan withheld from public disclosure.
Under 10 CFR 5 2.790 (d) the Plan contains " commercial or financial information" because it identifies detailed security measures for the physical protection of the Shoreham plant in which licensed special nuclear material will be possessed and used.
Therefore, the Company requests, pursuant to 10 CFR 5 2.790 (b) and 9.5 (a) (4) (i), that the Plan be withheld from public disclosure.
