Thank you for your letter of March 16, 1981, informing us of steps you have taken

to correct violations concerning activities under Operating License No. DPR-77

brought to your attention in our letter of February 13, 1981.

Regarding Item F (327/80-46-06), we have evaluated your response and concur with

the additional clarification provided in your response to finding 1.

This

example of a maintenance craftsman (steamfitter) not receiving fire brigade

training is withdrawn; however, findings 2 and 3 remain the basis for this item

as stated.

Regarding Item G (327/80-46-07), we have evaluated your response and concur with

the additional clarification provided in your response. Consequently, this item

is withdrawn and our records will be revised to remove this citation.

Regarding Items A, B, C, D, E, F, H, I, J, K and L, we will examine your correc-

tive actions and plans during subsequent inspections.

We appreciate your cooperation with us.

50-327/80-46 - RESPONSE TO VIOLATIONS

The subject letter dated February 13, 1981, cited TVA with 12 violations.

TVA received an extension to the response deadline during a telephone

conversation with J. Crlenjak on March 10, 1981. Enclosed are our

responses to those violations.
