.h MEMORANDUM AND ORDER A'
fN Westinghouse Electric Corporation (Westinghouse) on March 13, ' 8D/liN a motion requesting until May 15, 1981 in which to file a stipulation and/or response to contentions asserted by Petitioner Cathalyn Donalson (Donelson).
Efforts _ have been made over a period of time to arrive at an agreement by the parties as to the admissibility of Dorielson contentions. During the j
past few weeks the parties have participated in a series of lengthy telephone conferences. As a result, it is thought that they now have a better under-standing of each others positions in this matter. Accordingly, the Board is informed that Donelson is' revising the language of some contentions for further consider '. ion of the Westinghouse and the NRC Staff. Westinghouse contends that additional time is needed to complete the process of stipulation of -
the contentions..It also contends that granting the extension of time which it seeks will not delay at all the completion of the decision in this matter.

The reason for this is that documents dealing with r.ety, which Westinghouse must submit will not be ready until April or May 1981.
~
In addition there will undoubtedly be supplements to these documents and an amendment to the application according to Counsel for Westinghouse.
The NRC Staff's final SER will not be ready until the end of July according to NRC Staff Counsel.
It is reported by Westinghouse that neither the Staff nor Donelson object to the requested extension.
In view of the cirumstances outlined above it is this 26th day of March ORDERED That the time in which to file a stipulation and/or response to contentions asserted by Fetitioner Cathalyn Donelson be extended to May 15,1981.
