UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMI5sION DOCKET NO. 50-281 VIRGINIA ELECTRIC AND POWER COMPANY NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission ( the Commission) has issued Amendment No_66 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-37 issued to Virginia Electric and Power Company (the licensee), which revised Technical Specifications for operations for the Surry Power Station Unit No. 2.
(the facility) located in Surry County, Virginia. The amendment is effective as of the date of issuance.
The amendment pravides a one time 30 day extension for the visual inspection surveillance requirement for inaccessible snubbers.
The application for the amendment complies with the standards and requirements of the Atomic Energy Act:of 1954, as amended (the Act),
and the Comission's rules and regulations. The Commission has made appropriate findings as required by the Act and the Commission's rules and regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the license amend-ment. Priar public notice of this amendment was not required since this amer.dment does not involve a significant hazards consideration.
