Perry Nuclear Power Plant l

Extension for Completion of Repairs to Motor Control Centers This letter requests an extension for the completion of repairs

to deficient Cutler-Hammer motor control centers.

l The Perry Nuclear Power Project had committed to the NRC, in a final report dated September 29, 1980, to complete these repairs by February 27, 1981. The repair of motor control centers will now be completed by June 1,1981. A revised final report will be submitted by March 13, 1981.

These items were discussed with Mr. Leonard McGregor of the NRC, Region III, in a telephone conversation on February 26, 1981.
