(<8 Jackson, Michiga71 49201 Dear Mr. Hoffmani-

SUBJECT:

STATUS OF ANCHORAGE AND SUPPORT OF SAFETY RELATED ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT i

This is in response to your letter of January 22, 1981 concerning the analysis of and modifications to supports for safety related electrical equipment at the, Big Rock Point Plant.

Your letter indicated that you have made considerable progress on this subject and that you estimate

,ij that about 40% of the required modifications will be made prior to bringing the plant on line from the current refueling outage and that all modifications are expected to be completed by April 1,1981.

In view of our current seismic review schedule for Big Rock Point, we find that your proposed date of April 1,1981 for completion of all modifi-cations is acceptable.

Sincerely,

~
