RECEIPT OF AMENDMENT TO PERRY l AND 2 APPLICATION We acknowledge the receipt on January 30, 1981, of the following submittals from the Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company for the licensing application of the Perry Nuclear Power Plant, Units 1 and 2:

(1) Forty (40) copies of the Final Safety Analysis Report.

(2) Fifteen (15) copies of the General Information Section.

(3) Three (3) sets of the Electrical, Instrumentation and Control Drawings.

(4) Three (3) sets of the Piping and Instrumentation Drawings.

(5) Five (5) copies of the Physical iacurity Plan.

(6) Five (5) copies of proprietary information concerning initial core fuel design and off-gas system technology.

We are preparing a Federal Register notice concerning your application. Also, we are preparing a detailed schedulo for the Perry FSAR review. When that schedule is finalized, a copy will be forwarded to you. If you have any questions about this matter, please contact D. Houston at (301) 492/8507.
