Dear Mr. Parris:
Reference is made to discussions with your staff regarding the fire protection research program being conducted for NRC at Underwriters Laboratories in Northbrook, Illinois. As a result of your assistance in providing data on the area of Browns Ferry Unit No.1 being replicated, construction of the mockup for the test program is underway. We find that there are three areas on which we need additional infonnation to complete the mockup.
These areas are (1) hydraulic data on the sprinkler system at Browns Ferry 1, (2) details on junction boxes in the area being replicated and (3) descriptive information on the floor drains in this area. Your assistance in providing this information would be appreciated.
