We have received a copy of your January 2,1981 letter which transmitted revisions to your Industrial Security Plan for Units 1 and 2 of your Arkansas Nuclear One facility.
These revisions were filed with the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (0NRR) with a request that they review the proposed change in Enclosure 2 to your letter prior to its implercentation.
Fees pursuant to 10 CFR 170.22 were not included with the request.
Requests for approvals for plant specific items, such as the one identified above, are subject to fees, and fees should be determined in the same manner as for a request for license amendment.
Based on the information provided by the ONRR staff as a result of their preliminary review of your request, it has been determined that this request will involve consideration of a single safety issue. Therefore, a Class III fee of $4,000 is required for Unit No.1 and a duplicate fee of $400 is required for Unit No 2.
It is requested that your Company promptly remit a total of $4,400 to this office.
If the ONRR staff's final review reveals that these fees are incorrect, your Company will be refunded any overpayment or be asked to pay any additional amount due.
