I would like to request your assistance in a matter which we feel would help our office control correspondence related to 50.55(e) issues. As you knot, problems reported in accordance with the 10 CFR 50.55(e) provisions are communicated in several reports depending on the length of time required to resolve the items.
It would be very helpful to this office if your reports could be identified with a simple control number (i.e., 81-01, 81-02, etc.) compatible with your own administrative practices so that the tracking of all 50.55(e) reports related to the same problem could be made easier.
Your consideration in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
