INTRUS10h DETECTION SYSTElls HANDBOOK As discussed at the recent regional meetings related to 10 CFR 73, Section 73.55, " Requirements for physical protection of licensed activities in nuclear power reactors agai%t industry sabotage," we have enclosed a copy of the Intrusion Detection Systems Handbook, SA!:D 76-0554, dated November 1976.
This handbook was prepared by the Facilities Protection Department, Sandia Laboratories, Albuqueraue, New Mexico, under contract with the Division of Safeguards and Security, U. S. Energy Researcl and Development Administration and is made avail-able for your inforriation as a reference source for use in :the design, installation, and operation of intrusion detection syst2ms.
This document is marked by ERDA as Official Use Only; however, it does not require any special handling on your part.
Revisions to the handbook will be sent direc'ly to all recipients by CRDA.
