In 1970, amendments to the e-ission's regulations in 10 CW 50 with regard to quality assurance requitecents for the construction and opern-tion of nuclear power plants became effective. Appendix B to 10 CFR 50 sets forth criteria for quality assurance prograus.
In order that we may evaluate whether the quality assurance program that is used to govern activities such as operation, maintenance, repair, refueling, and plant modifications at Big Rock Point Nuclear Power Plant meets the criteria of Appendix B, please submit a description of your quality assurance program within 90 days. The description should include the iter.s set forth in Section 50.34(i)(6)(ii) of 10 CFR 50 and should be filed as a supplement to your Final Safety Analysis Report.
Three signed and esatarized copies and twenty-two additional copies of your submittal should be provided. Doctaments already on file with us may be incorporated by specific reference, if you desire.
